All of us spend a lot of time in the kitchen, but what we do in that time can vastly affect the way your designer will guide you through your process. For example, if you’re a foodie who needs lots of space to spread out while creating complex recipes, you’ll need a different space than someone who is just looking to “feed the troops” after a long day of school and work. Think about how you spend your time in the kitchen, and what kind of conveniences you’re looking for.
3. What “one thing” do you want to change about your kitchen?
If you are in the market for a kitchen remodel or reface, then chances are your search for that new, exciting look began with one specific pain point. Are your cabinet doors peeling? Is the area under your sink dark and scary? Is there a corner cabinet that doubles as a black hole for pots, pans, spices, or glasses? Whatever your “one thing” may be, make sure you bring that up with your designer. Whatever your price point may be, resolving that “one thing” will make everything worth it!

Furthermore, sharing what you love about your existing kitchen opens up a great opportunity for your designer to enhance your project and bring more of what you love throughout your space!
